Bryce Kammerzell will not be able to wrestle in the smackdown. He is going under the knife this am to get a knee overhaul. Not many knew but Bryce wrestled all year with a wiped out ACL, meniscus and a couple other issues with his knee. He had a very bad knee injury early in football and he was very lucky to wrestle this year. I applaud him as it wasn't easy for him to push off or drive off his bad wheel or even condition as it was pretty painful for him to get through an average practice. He found the hard to find alloy called guts and made it happen.

We are proud of Bryce and his accomplishments and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Has Bryce signed with anybody yet? Is UNC leading the charge? It would be great to keep him in the Weld county area. If the rumor is true and Schunkee is heading back to UNC then Bryce will definitely improve look at Tuell he is a Schunkee product.

Wow, that's pretty incredible. To lose only one match all season and be completely dominant at state with a knee that's no good. What an animal. That is some real drive right there.

Not sure where you are coming from but here goes: If it's a breakfast burrito to go that you want, go W on Hwy 50 to Canon City. At the 3rd stoplight (one light West of Wal-Mart), take a left (South) on Raynolds and go a block South. You'll see a gas station on your left. Alfonso's is located inside the gas station or you can use the drive thru. It'll run you about $4 American for a good-size gut-buster breakfast burrito. Chorizo is my favorite. Also, their side orders of jalapenos rock. Other than that, if you want a sit-down breakfast, I'd recommend Waffle Wagon in Canon. Just keep going W. on Hwy 50 another mile or so and it'll be on your left. Better keep your eyes open. In Florence, there's a couple places on Main Street in Florence (sit-down types) or a Carl's Junior if you want it to go. From the high school head S. on Hwy 67 til you hit a light. That's Main. Take a Left to the next light for Carl's Jr or you should see a couple places on Main getting to Carl's Jr. Hope this helps.

Wrestling fans, information on time and date for Classification Smackdown to be held in Florence, CO. I have spoken to a hotel in Florence that will give you a rate of $45.00 for two people or $50.00 for four people. Just make sure that you mention that you are with the Wrestling smackdown. The address is 4540 State Hwy. 67 Florence, CO 719-784-4800. The address for the high school is 2006 Hwy. 67 Florence, CO about 1 mile North of town. The wrestlers can show up at 7:00pm Friday night, March 5 if they would like to workout. Wrestling begins Saturday morning with doors opening at 8:00am and wrestling starting at 9:00am. Admission will be $6.00 and $8.00 dollars at the door. This money will go to Florence High School Wrestling program. Wrestlers need to make sure and have a USA Wrestling card and $20.00 entry fee for USA Wrestling. Please make sure to let your school and town know that this is happening. We hope to make this an annual event so help to get everyone excited. Let your town newspapers know as well!!
